I’ve hit a bit of a block. I’m highly distracted. I sat here about three times in the last three days and the words just aren’t coming. My mind wanders. Then it just stops somewhere and starts to do whatever the hell it wants until I call it back. It usually doesn’t listen. So I have to call it again I have to give it a treat. Some sort of bribe, not unlike with my own children or students. This weekend it was Bob Saget telling the joke The Aristocrats in the movie The Aristocrats. (PLEASE don’t look at this if you have ANY sense of decency. You’ve been warned.)

It has nothing at all to do with teaching, but it did give me an idea for an instructional/professional development video for the blog. I will let you know if anything comes of this.

So…what? I guess it’s back to school tomorrow. Man, I’m so burned I can’t even get upset.
